I am a geologist primarily focused on petrology, including metamorphic rocks, igneous rocks, and everything in between. My research combines fieldwork, laboratory work, and numerical modelling to understand the geologic processes that formed these rocks. A strong focus of my work is the chemical compositions of rocks, minerals, melts, and geologic fluids.
I have a particular interest in early Earth, and have been working to understand how continental crust was formed and how it has evolved through geologic time.
